As a leading alloy and stainless steel pipe manufacturer in China, we provide high-quality T22 alloy tubes for high-temperature and pressure applications. Unlike stainless steel pipes known for corrosion resistance, T22 offers superior heat strength. Recently, we completed a USD 120,000 T22 tube order with a Brazilian client, marking our steady growth in the global market.
T22 alloy tube (ASTM A213/A335 T22) is a low-alloy ferritic steel containing 2.25% chromium and 1% molybdenum. It provides excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and pressure tolerance, making it widely used in boilers, heat exchangers, and power plant pipelines.
Compared with stainless steel, T22 offers better creep resistance under continuous high temperatures (up to 600°C).
Typical Applications:
Superheater and reheater tubes in power plants
Steam pipelines and pressure vessels
Petrochemical and refinery systems
Stainless steel pipes, such as 304 or 316, belong to the austenitic stainless steel family. They are designed for excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic, marine, and chemical environments.
Unlike T22, stainless pipes are not primarily used for high-temperature pressure applications but are ideal for long-term anti-rust and decorative purposes.
Typical Applications:
- Chemical and food processing equipment
- Marine engineering
- Construction and decorative use

Our Successful Cooperation with Brazil Client
In October 2025, our company successfully signed a USD 120,000 contract with a Brazilian client for the supply of T22 alloy tubes.
This cooperation reflects our client’s recognition of our product quality, technical expertise, and on-time delivery. The T22 tubes will be used in thermal power plant projects in Brazil, where high temperature and pressure resistance are critical.
We continue to expand our presence in South America, offering competitive prices, customizable sizes, and reliable export service to meet global demand.
- Real Factory Supply – ISO-certified production base in China
- Strict Quality Control – 100% inspection before delivery
- Customization Support – Tailored sizes, thickness, and surface treatment
- Global Export Experience – Supplying to over 50 countries
Conclusion:
T22 alloy tubes and stainless steel pipes each play important roles in different industrial fields. If you need materials for high-temperature, high-pressure applications, T22 alloy steel is your best choice.
If your project requires corrosion resistance and aesthetic appearance, stainless steel pipes are ideal.
